"How to be Wise in God’s Eyes"

The Reverend Terry Chupp with Team Jesus Ministries came to lead his soul winning seminar “How to be Wise in God’s Eyes” to several churches in the Wood County Texas area in June. While here, I had the pleasure of hearing Terry share the gospel at our men’s breakfast which led to two men rededicating their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. One day when we were at lunch at a local restaurant here on Lake Fork, Terry saw an older man wearing a Vietnam Veterans ball cap along with a purple heart pin on his hat. Terry went over to thank the man for his service to our country and about 10 minutes later, this sweet man was bowing his head and praying to receive Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.

Terry’s soul winning seminar was exactly what First Baptist Church of Alba church members were needing as we strive to be faithful to the Great Commission. The scriptures that Terry uses and the way the seminar is presented is very easy for anyone to use when sharing their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that Terry is anointed by God to be a soul winner for the Lord and he is very sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is leading him to do. His boldness is an asset that I believe caught on with many in our church. We have seen a rise in salvations, baptisms and rededications since Terry was here.
